I had a bad year this year on growing here in the south, We went thru a drought that lasted 2 months, and I did loose a lot of the melons and other things I planted. But I did get a few things to do but in limited numbers, I have the following things I will be entering in the local county fair this year, I have what I feel is a prize winning Navajo Melon that will be ready just in time for the fair. I have a nice big Lakota squash to enter, My DH will be entering a Jonathan Pumpkin aslo known as a white salem or white cushaw Sthingy Tomato, These will be ready just in time, I kept this plant under lock and key My DH and Sons loved eating them, My DH grew a lumina Pumpkin he will be entering I will be entering Thai Pink Egg Tomato Amish Cantaloupe Charintais melon Collective Farm Woman Vine Peach Maybe one or 2 more things I'm not sure yet, Do any of you enter things in the county fairs in your area?
