Melon Jenny Lind 75 dtm. green fleshed musk type named after a popular singer at it's introduction circa 1840's. Heavily netted fruit have a small 'turban' or knob on blossom end. 2 lbs. Plants look fragile and stringy, but it is a mistake to think it is a weak variety.

Watermelon Cream of Saskatchewan 85 days to maturity. Cream coloured flesh with a thin rind. Can grow quite large (8-10 lbs.), but remains mild and sweet. Pale green with darker stripes on the fragile rind. Reliable and early for a watermelon. Brought to Canada by Russian immigrants in the days of the new west.
