Here is how you do it on a Mac. I am PC illiterate, so if anyone can write it out for a PC it is much appreciated.
NOTE: You must be a registered member on this forum AND be given post privileges in the actual inventory section you need to post in. Send me an e-mail to let me know what categories you need clearance for and I will go in and fix it. HEADS UP, I am on a plane out of town this afternoon and will not be back until Thursday, so let me know by 3 p.m. PST today or I can't do it until my return - Loamy, Carol, Rosie, you all can do this if you go under "members," choose the member, then go under "modify profile." Way down, but not quite at the end it says something like "group" which is a pull down menu. Choose "moderator" and scroll down to "modify profile." You then need to go to the "admin" section and choose "modify board." Once you get to the correct category you need to add the member in the moderator field.
1. Create your inventory list(s) in the word processing program of your choice. At the very least you have Simple Text as it comes preinstalled on Macs. If you need to search for it, from your (computer) desktop, hit ( Command + F ) to bring up Sherlock. Type in Simple Text and it will tell you where it is stored on your computer.
2. Login at: ogseedbank.proboards55.com/index.cgi
3. Locate the appropriate category to post your inventory and choose "new thread" from the upper right hand corner above the text box and create your new title.
4. Go back to your text document of your inventory - but do not close the inventory site window - and copy the list. You can either use your mouse to highlight the text to copy or hit ( Command + A ) to choose all the text. After the text is highighted hit ( Command + C ) OR choose "copy" from the drop down menu under "File" in your toolbar.
5. Go to the new message you have started on the nventory forum and click into the text box. Either hit ( Command + V ) to paste OR go under File in your toolbar and choose "Paste."
6. Scroll to the end of the text box and hit "post."
