No mad rush on the answer here, but can the seeds from F1 hybrids be saved?? There's no rush on the answer to that question because they're only now going into the ground, but I would like to know. Thank you, Jackie

There's no point, Jackie. The saved seed will not grow into the same plants. They will revert to one of their parents, or not viable at all (will not sprout). If you like experimenting and have the time and space to grow out saved seed from F1 hybrids, go ahead and see what happens. But in my opinion, that's just a waste.

I'm with Loamy on that one I've tried...it just isn't worth my time or trouble....altho' it can be interesting to see what ya get
