I guess my exit from OG will mean I'll have more time to finish my essays here. At least there's that.

This place is yours. Your vision created it. None of us would have it to come to without you. Thank you for sharing it with us.
And, you are still welcome at OG. If you need to take a break - understandable. But please, when you're ready, come back. There are many of us who value your advice.

Thankfully I can meet you here. This place was your vision & I for one have been happy to be a small part of your dream. I have a problem though. I have been run so ragged lately that I have fallen down on the job. I am wondering if I should turn over my portion of the seed bank to some one who is more on top of things.

Wanda - don't even think about 'turning over' anything, unless it's compost or garden dirt It's that time of year. I'm 'supposed' to be the 'secretary' and haven't checked either site for about 10 days, until now. We're all doin the best we can. We're growing and we're saving the seeds. Kitt

Wanda
I'm with Kitt on this too. My season Down Under finished the end of May/early June and I still haven't completed my seed saving, not to mention filing everything away, and on it goes. My time is not my own as I am a carer for my frail, aged Mom (83 years old). When there is some time to spare I attend to whatever I can. So, we who have oodles of responsbilities know exactly what you are going thru.
Chin up and hang in there!

There are two basic truths in gardening: there is never enough compost, and there's never enough time to get everything you want done. You frost-free growers have it the worst, I think. At least I have the winter time to catch up on seeds and filing when there's no outdoor work to do.
