I planned on growing and saving the seeds of some uncommon tomato varieties, Lagidniy Paste and Novinka Pridnestroviya, both Russian paste -- google them for more info, or see link), but they did so poorly in my garden that I may not want to save&store any of those seeds. Production and fruit size are remarkable, but flavor and disease resistance are really below average. If someone is interested in growing them anyway, please let me know, so I can collect seeds for them, otherwise I'm just going to give up on these 2 varieties. www.seeds.ca

Hi Gardpro4seeds
I would love to grow out these two varieties to assess how they do in our very hot climate Down Under. My e-mail address is contained in my profile.
Thanks.

I grew green zebra & black plum but I didn't care for the sweet flavor. Should I save the seed from fruits that were isolated?

Wanda, I grew Black Plum and they were wonderful. I think it may just be the climate or soil difference. I will grow them again. If you still have some of the paste tomato seeds you described, I would like to try them here in Texas too. Email me if it's not too late. I think we need to post more on the email list so people don't miss posts like this. I try to check in here but I guess I am not checking often enough. Carol
