I would like to trade the following seeds that I have
Beets
Cylindra - about 75-100 seeds, from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds, 2006, 60 days, long red root, tender and sweet, smooth skin, dark purple flesh, 6-8" long, grow 1/2 above ground, mature slowly, from Denmark, 1840
Albino - 30-35 seeds, white beet, Holland, from seeds savers exchange catalog, 2006
Celeriac
tiny seeds- from a seed exchange member in 2006, 110 days, likes a long season of cool, moist weather 45-75 degrees (that ain't' happening in texas, boo hoo). Celeriac makes a great potato substitute, for those that are allergic to potatoes like I am. They are sweet, and have a small hint of celery which mostly goes away when cooked. They mash up like potatoes, and are very yummy. I like them slice up fried in broth or steamed.
Lettuce
Sweet Valentine - not counting these tiny seeds, but looks like at least 20-30 seeds, 55 days, leafy romaine, red tinged leaves, slow to bolt, from southern exposure seed exchange, 2006
Radish
Bartender Red - about 60ish seeds, 7" long red root, pink flesh, pungent, 35 days, from baker creek seeds, 2006
Southern Peas
Rice Peas - 50 seeds, saved by me in fall of 2006 for the 2007 planting year, 16 trades available. These peas are tiny, hence the name. They are said to go well with rice. It has a very mild flavor. 10-15 peas to pod. Pods are 5". peas are crowded in the pod. I think they are considered a cream pea. Plants are very productive, and did very well in our heat and drought, with supplemental water of course.
Texas Longhorn - 50 seeds, gathered by me, 2006, about 3 trades available. Tastes like boiled peanuts, and makes a very nice broth. Maroon seeds with black eye. My favorite of the three I grew this year. Only takes about 8 pods to have enough for 1 person.
Squash
Anna Swartz Hubbard - 8 seeds, 90-100 days, 5-8 lbs, green fruit, color and taste of sweet potato, long vines, from trade in 2006
Melonette Jaspee De Vendee - 8 seeds, 90 days, has netting like a melon, flesh moist, orange and very sweet, the texture is like a spaghetti squash to me, from France, baker creek seeds, 2006
The follwowing are seeds I would like to trade for
