I just posted this on the OG Forums Seed Swap but figured that I should really post it here too I know that these plants were developed in the UK, but has anyone grown any in the US? I would love to get some seeds, but the only ones I've found were extremely expensive and didn't seem to be from very reliable sources. Seeing as this is reported to be the hottest pepper on the planet I would really like to add it to my crop for next year if at all possible. Thanks!

I got and sent a precious 6-seed packet for pepperhead over on OG. I told him to grow, and I'd help him save seed for others. I know what you mean by expensive! The equilvalent to $10 Canadian for 6 seeds, even though they threw in a packet of other kinds. I don't know if the Naga is a hybrid; I susupect it is a selected strain, though. Seeds from the hottest producing plant is saved. I got them through Ebay, from England. I sent them to pepperhead 'cause I figured if anybody can turn 6 seeds into a good supply, it'd be him! So, although there's a wait of a growing season, I'm sure pepperhead will be offering some of these precious seeds back in the autumn of '07. You never know when I'll spring for another 6 seed packet, either. Are you an experienced pepper grower?

You can get Bhut Jolokia seeds, probably the same genetics as Naga Morich, from The Chile Pepper Institute at New Mexico State, and you can be 100% certain they are providing the right stuff: spectre.nmsu.edu/dept/welcome.html?t=chile
